The United States...

The United States in a very large country. The capital of Washington D.C and the official Language is American Engligh. From the east coast to west coast, it is about 3000 miles wide. The atlantic ocean lies in the est and the pacific ocean in the west. Canada is the country  to the north, and Mexico is to the south. The Rio Grand River is the grat plains. a Huge flat grassy area.
In the western-Central area is the grat divide, the highest ridge of the rocky mountains. In the south is the grand canyon a huge deep canyon; hower it is not the Lowest point death valley is. In the north west is the redwood forest. The two newest states are Alaska and Hawaii. The important rivers are: Mississippi, the longest other important rivers are the Colorado river and the missouri river, the lake are: Lake superior, ontario and lake michigan And the importanto mountains are the appalachian in the est, the rocky mountains.
